Why do people keep calling me to take their Salt Spring Island BC listings? I work with buyers only!

As a Salt Spring Island Buyers agent I do not take on Salt Spring listings. I do not want Salt Spring Island listings. I have no Gulf island listings. Please don't call me to list your Saltspring house.

Why is it if you say no people just want you to do it? Is it just human nature? In the last two days I have had to turn away two listings. I work with buyers only not the sellers. Maybe the general public does not no that buyers agency is becoming popular even in Canada.

With me it is just a personal thing: I just cant play the old game of bump and grind. You know the one where the customer calls three or four listing agent before they sell and then list with the one that gives them the highest price. Then in about 5 months says I think the price is to high and we should lower it and can you sign up for another 6 months after all I have spent a lot of money on advertising. Its an old story you have heard it all before.

I like working with the buyer it is the fun part of the real estate business. Home shopping is fun.

So call me if you want to buy your new Salt Spring home but not to sell your Salt Spring home.
