I am not just a Exclusive buyers agent but I am also a gardener. I was a rather sad gardener, I was missing something in my gardening tool shed. I needed a rototiller. I have rented one over the years but it is always a big production and hassle. Today while out and about I passed a garage sale and there it was. It was love at first site. I think it is older than I am but the old tiller just needed a home. She is a beauty 2 hp Briggs and Stratton motor on a steel frame.

Well being the Exclusive Buyers Agent I am, I made the fatal mistake of not getting an inspection (or even see it running), but I did get a 25% reduction in price and for $30 how could I go wrong. Well even if the gas tank does leak it runs well and I tilled the hole garden in two hrs. Now I need ice, I am going to be sore in the AM.

That's what happens when you are home shopping, calm reasonable people get caught up in emotion. Just like my rototiller; one look and that was it, into negotiations, no inspection, just buy it. It is the real poker players who win in home buying the ones who don't get wild with enthusiasm. But that is my job to offer a little perspective on Salt Spring real estate. Let me be the cool voice of reason.
