Golf Golf Golf now I must say I'm not a good golfer but I do like my own Salt Spring golf course

Yes my own Salt Spring Golf course. When I renovated our house I had to put in a new septic system and noticed that it was going to be big, round, sand and flat. With a google here and there I found http://www.putting-greens.com/index.html . What a site I ordered his book. Yes, I always order the book, and this was a real treat. It is a great how to book on golf greens.

The only thing I omitted on my green was the bentgrass, I opted for an all season turf grass. It turned out well a par two 70 yard pitch and put.

This brings me to the point of this post there is a spectacular large waterfront acreage for sale on Salt Spring that would make a great short 9 hole course. You might want hire a course designer or maybe just buy your own backhoe, truck and with book in hand go for it. It would be a great project. How about copying a few signature holes from some famous courses. Like the 18th hole from St. Andrews and with a facade change on the house it could look like the club house.

Cheers
