Salt Spring Island construction cost

Salt Spring Island construction cost are very high 200-300 per square foot and at that price we are not talking about top end building just regular building. That price is on a cost plus construction. It's a range that the builders will try and hit.

I have been in lots of new houses that have been built at that price range and see low - mid range kitchens. If you have read my blog post before you know I'm a high end kitchen guy I like sub zero and Garland but not a unreasonable prices.

I have finally figured out a way to build on Salt Spring or other Gulf Island at a reasonable sq ft fixed price. I personally could never enter into a contract and not know the final price how can anyone build a house and not give a fixed price. This is the norm for construction on Salt Spring "cost plus".
