Gulf Islands real estate stats for April 20 and 21, 2008

Gulf Island real estate statistics presented by Scott Simmons Salt Spring and Southern Gulf Island agent for One Percent Realty Vancouver Island

Salt Spring Island real estate - total Salt Spring island mls listings 239 According to Canada Post web site there are about 2100 homes on Salt Spring.

  • 4 New listings; 430k range, 90k range, 1.6 mil range and a campground at 795k my listing a good price and great deal
  • 4 BOM the same ones that came off the market the other day same price
  • 2 price changes 1.3 mil range and one dropped 300k

Note to readers technical glitch with Mayne and Galiano stats. Some properties are listed on one or both the Vancouver real estate board and Victoria real estate board. Total listing numbers may be wrong.

Mayne Island real estate  - total Mayne Island mls listings 40

  • 1 new listing 597k my listing very nice
  • 1 closed sale 270k
  • 2 off the market one is the same as my new listing.

The other big news for Mayne is that the tennis courts are getting paved. It is a quiet place if you have not been there and looking for a quiet island this is it.

  • 1 BOM 140k range
  • 1 closed sale 150k range

Saturna Island real estate - total Saturna Island mls listings 10

Realtors can not advertise other agents listing so that is why I give ranges only if you would like to know the exact prices or addresses sent me and email  scottonepercent-statblog@yahoo.com or log on and view all the prices with my new PCS market watch system . Updates faster than the mls

Statistical information may not be precise, does not include private sales or exclusive listings.

It's a beautiful morning on the Gulf Islands. I have been reading up on the link between San francisco mint and Mayne Island and the sinking of the Zepher.

Cheers
Scott
