Salt Spring Island real estate - total Salt Spring island mls listings 237 According to Canada Post web site there are about 2100 homes on Salt Spring.
3 new listings; 100k range recreational, 220k and 400k range lots
2 price changes 400k and 1.3 mil range
2 new sales 600k and 650k range both very nice places and well priced.
1 off the market 630k range

The other big news for Mayne is that the tennis courts are getting paved. It is a quiet place if you have not been there and looking for a quiet island this is it.

Both new sales where the value leaders in their price range. Not the lowest priced places but the value leader. The buyers received more value for their money. Both places where modern, clean, upgraded and priced to sell. I read that NRA stat a few years ago that 90% of buyers want a move in ready, totally upgraded place with no work needed. I have not been able to find the report where I read that stat but can see it's effect every day.
