The Crofton No. 1 paper machine shut down

The Crofton No. 1 paper machine, which produces 140,000 tonnes of newsprint yearly, will be idled on February 1 and remain shut down until market conditions improve. Wow I thought this might happen with the glut in pulp and paper.

If you do not know about Crofton BC read about it here at http://www.escapetosaltspring.com/Crofton_BC/page_1838600.html This will have an impact on Crofton I think prices will bounce down and then if the mill shuts down who knows what the long term trend will be. I have found some great deals over there in the last few years.
